Empowering Young Minds: A Special Session on Safe and Unsafe Touch
At our school, the safety and well-being of our students are always our top priorities. To help our youngest learners understand personal boundaries and stay safe, our teachers recently conducted a gentle and interactive awareness session on "Good Touch and Bad Touch" for the students of Classes 1 and 2.To make this sensitive topic easy to understand for little children, our talented teachers put on an engaging and age-appropriate skit as.well.as.had shown a few videos.
During the session, students learned three vital safety rules:
1. Identify: Recognizing the difference between a safe touch (like a warm hug from family or a high-five from a friend) and an unsafe touch.
2. Say 'NO': Understanding that they have the right to firmly say "No" if anyone makes them feel uncomfortable.
3. Tell a Trusted Adult: Encouraging them to immediately inform a trusted adult, like their parents or teachers, without any fear.
