Environmental awareness is woven into classroom learning across subjects. Through observations, discussions, outdoor exploration and hands-on activities, students develop an understanding of nature, conservation and responsible behaviour. A pivotal step has been the integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into our curriculum, particularly through the Mathematics and Science departments. The Cambridge Quest Course introduced for both teachers and students has deepened our collective understanding of sustainable practices and their relevance in education.
Classroom conversations, projects and group tasks help students understand waste reduction, cleanliness, respect for resources and responsible use of materials. These activities guide children toward building good habits and developing a sense of stewardship.
School events and celebrations often include themes that highlight gratitude, responsibility and harmony with nature. Students take part in creative tasks, performances and discussions that reinforce the importance of caring for the environment and living thoughtfully.
Learners are encouraged to follow simple routines that promote sustainability, such as keeping their surroundings clean, using resources mindfully, maintaining classroom hygiene and practising respectful behaviour toward nature. These habits help students internalise values that support long-term environmental well-being.
