The Class 5 students participated in a Financial Literacy Club Activity through a visit to the local vegetable market. During the visit, they observed how buying and selling take place, interacted with vendors and learnt about weighing, pricing and budgeting. The activity helped them understand the value of money, the importance of making wise spending decisions and the concept of fair trade. Students enthusiastically applied their mathematical skills while calculating costs and comparing prices. The visit provided a meaningful real-life learning experience, making financial literacy practical and enjoyable.
